When Allan and I launched the first Youth Entrepreneur Summit, we had a simple belief: if you put ambitious teenagers in the right environment, give them real mentors, and challenge them to build something real — extraordinary things happen.
Three years later, that belief has been validated 150 times over.
What We've Learned
Every cohort has taught us something new. The first year taught us that teenagers are far more capable than we give them credit for. The second year taught us that the relationships formed during YES week last long after the summit ends. The third year taught us that this is a movement — and it's just getting started.
Here's what stands out when we look at our alumni:
They take action. Alumni from our first summit have started real businesses, landed internships with local companies, and launched social media brands. These aren't hypothetical projects — they're things that exist in the world.
They think differently. The most common thing we hear from parents is: "Something shifted in them at YES. I don't know exactly what happened, but they came home different." We know what happened. They discovered they're capable of more than they imagined.
They pay it forward. Many of our alumni have come back as volunteers and junior mentors. The culture of YES is multiplying.
What's Next
We're not stopping at 150. With the launch of our online programs, new city expansions, and partnerships with organizations like Junior Achievement Las Vegas, we're building the infrastructure to reach thousands of teens — not just hundreds.
