Looking Back: What We Expected from YES 2026 Las Vegas

April 15, 2026·YES Team

Editor's note, August 2026. This post was published before the June 2026 Youth Entrepreneur Summit and is kept here as a record of what we planned. The Summit has since taken place. Dates for the 2027 Summit have not been announced yet.

The Summit Is Back — Bigger Than Ever

Every year, we gather the most ambitious teens from across the country for a week that doesn't feel like school, doesn't feel like a camp, and doesn't feel like anything they've experienced before. It feels like the real thing — because it is.

YES 2026 is our third annual Youth Entrepreneur Summit, and it's our most ambitious yet. We've expanded the curriculum, brought in more mentors, and designed an experience that meets students exactly where they are — and launches them far beyond where they thought they could go.

What Happens During YES Week

Students arrive on Day 1 as individuals. By Day 7, they leave as a team — having built a real business from scratch, pitched it to a panel of judges, and discovered capabilities they didn't know they had.

Here's a glimpse of the week:

  • Day 1–2: Ideation and team formation. Students explore problems worth solving, find their business concept, and meet their co-founders.
  • Day 3–4: Build mode. Teams develop their product or service, create a brand, and start testing their idea with real feedback.
  • Day 5–6: Pitch prep. With mentor coaching, teams craft a compelling story and presentation.
  • Day 7: Pitch Day. Teams present to judges, compete for awards, and celebrate what they've created.

Why Las Vegas

Las Vegas isn't just a backdrop — it's a lesson. This city was built by entrepreneurs who saw possibility in the desert. Our students will walk the same streets where visionaries built empires, and then go back to their teams and build something of their own.
